The first home match against SC Braga is already sold out. Single matchday sales for the home match against SSC Napoli are expected to start on 04.10.2023. More information will start shortly.
Union are one of four German teams represented in the Champions League this season. Also participating from the Bundesliga are record champions FC Bayern München as well as Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
In Group C, 1. FC Union Berlin will face Real Madrid, SSC Napoli and Sporting Braga.
The Spanish record champions, and league runners-up last season, booked a direct ticket to the group stage and will play their home games at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
The club from the slopes of Vesuvius won the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years last season and were therefore seeded in lottery pot one. The southern Italian side’s home games take place at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
As in last season’s UEFA Europa League, Diogo Leite will face his former club. Sporting Braga play their home games at the Estádio Municipal and qualified directly for the group stage after finishing third in Portugal last season.
