Once again, Union goes international, this time in the UEFA Champions League, European club football’s premier competition. In the group stage, Union will face Real Madrid, SSC Napoli and SC Braga.

40,000 season tickets for an Olympiastadion shimmering in red have already been sold ahead of the draw for the group opponents.

The first home match against SC Braga is already sold out. Single matchday sales for the home match against SSC Napoli are expected to start on 04.10.2023. More information will start shortly.

Our Group

Union are one of four German teams represented in the Champions League this season. Also participating from the Bundesliga are record champions FC Bayern München as well as Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

In Group C, 1. FC Union Berlin will face Real Madrid, SSC Napoli and Sporting Braga.

Real Madrid

The Spanish record champions, and league runners-up last season, booked a direct ticket to the group stage and will play their home games at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

SSC Napoli

The club from the slopes of Vesuvius won the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years last season and were therefore seeded in lottery pot one. The southern Italian side’s home games take place at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Sporting Braga

As in last season’s UEFA Europa League, Diogo Leite will face his former club. Sporting Braga play their home games at the Estádio Municipal and qualified directly for the group stage after finishing third in Portugal last season.

What kind of tickets are available?

1. FC Union Berlin have already sold 40,000 season tickets to their fans for the home matches in the Champions League group stage. The first home match against SC Braga is already sold out. Single matchday ticket sales for the home match against SSC Napoli will start shortly.

Will season tickets be available after the draw for the group stage?

No. The limited tickets were only available before the draw

Who is allowed to apply for single match tickets?

Union members (deadline for club entry 01.09.2023 and over 6 years of age) without a Champions League season ticket will initially enjoy a right of first refusal for the home match against SSC Napoli.

Will there be a ticket resale market?

Yes. When it will be opened will be announced shortly before the matchday.

Which conditions do I need to fulfil to be able to book online?

You need an online account for the Union Zeughaus. You can easily create this before the payment process.

Can I book for friends or family? What do I need to be aware of?

If you book for another person, only the full-price and child/young person rates are available. Please note before booking:
All the tickets you have booked are in your Zeughaus account and will be sent to you by e-mail as Print@home tickets. As all the tickets you have booked are in your Zeughaus account, only you can share these tickets in the app or post them on the secondary ticket market.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?

A reduced price is available for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17. Younger children (up to the age of 5) do not need their own ticket, but consequently are not entitled to their own seat.

How can I as a fan with a disability apply for single match tickets?

For fans with a severely disabled pass and the right to bring an accompanying person ('B' in the severely disabled pass), please use this form to order day tickets with the start of day ticket sales.

1. FC Union Berlin will provide 1000 free tickets for every group match for Unioners who cannot otherwise afford them
